Personal Trainers Need Business Direction
We, as qualified personal trainers, get plenty of anatomy, and physiology training. However, what type of business training in sales, and marketing do we receive? I just heard a big nothing!
True, personal fitness trainers are passionate educators, but also need to be sales people. It is a fitness trainers job to sell clients on the concept of fitness training. After conducting a little study, I have found that the personal trainers who are trained, and understand business, and marketing are the ones that make the most money, hands down.
It didn’t matter if a fitness pro was an exercise physiologist whiz. The professional mastering the skill of sales, and marketing simply made the most money.
