Did you know there is a cost for your personal trainer business time even when you are not training clients? This concept seems to slip the minds of many personal trainers. Fitness trainers do realize their time is valuable when training a client. That is why they command a large fee for their services. However, somewhere in their personal trainer education they fail to realize their time outside of training has a significant cost also.
How much do you charge per hour in your personal trainer business? Your time when you are not training is worth that, and more. Please realize this! What are you doing to help your personal training business when you are not training? Are you marketing, educating yourself, or just wasting your valuable time? Wasting time is like throwing money right out the window.
As a professional fitness trainer, the first thing you should do is take an inventory of your time. How many personal trainer business hours are you working? How many more hours are you interested in working? Are you utilizing your time wisely between appointments, or just wasting it?
