A recent survey by American Express revealed that 47% of consumers will spend more money on health and fitness in 2011. 28% of consumers say they would give away a portion of their savings to be at their goal weight. Do you see the opportunity here? I sure hope so! Consumers are telling us what they want. All you need to do is deliver it to them, and profit. That is a win-win situation all the way around.
It is also reported in the fitness industry that gyms, workout equipment, personal trainers, and fitness video games are booming.
